If you don’t know what the CCC is, here’s a quick background of what this organization entails. The CCC, known as the California Copyright Conference, was established in 1953 to discuss copyright related areas in the music and entertainment world. Today, the organization has grown to over 300 members from all over the industry including publishers, songwriters/composers, attorneys, music supervisors, and more. With monthly dinners held every Tuesday of the month, previous discussions have included DIY Marketing, The Evolution of Artist Management, An Evening with Oscar nominated Composers and Songwriters, Challenges of the Internet, and much more. This coming month, the CCC will be hosting a panel on video games and how to level up your synchronization income. Luckily for Angry Mob, our very own David Quan (Vice President of the CCC), will be moderating this panel that you don’t want to miss.

David mentions, “I have the great privilege to co-moderate the next CCC meeting with the amazing, Mara Schwartz Kuge of Superior Music. The panel is entitled ‘Video Games: Level Up Your Synchronization Income.’ We’ve assembled an all star panel comprised of a music supervisor, music agent, two composers, and a record label rep. I hope you will be able to join us for an evening of fun and upbeat conversations!”

The topics that will be covered include:

-What rights are being requested?

-How to generate an appropriate license fee?

-When and how to pitch songs?

-How to land the gig as a composer?

-What are eSports?

This panel will be held at the Sportsmen’s Lodge Events Center in Studio City at 6:15pm on Tuesday, February 13th, 2018.

Make sure to RSVP below to ensure your spot and we will see you there!
