RedRum!

The Thompson Hotel rooftop was the setting for Angry Mob Music’s launch party blow out. The Billboard Magazine-sponsored event went off without a hitch. From the inspired lighting design provided by Elevated Pulse to the party’s hit signature drink, RedRum, the event’s attendees were treated to an evening that would indulge all of their senses. Spinning poolside was Angry Mob’s very own DMZ (Max Cameron), laying down an eclectic mix of rare funk, deep house and nu disco. With the Film & Television music industry’s finest in attendance, the Mob’s brain trust opted to introduce their diverse roster of artists as a meet and greet rather than a performance showcase. Angry Mob’s Marc Caruso said, “We wanted our guests to have a good time and take a break from the daily grind. We’re in the relationship business, not the, ‘here’s a free cocktail and crab cake, please allow us to shove our music down your throat’ business.” And to end the night: The seemingly favorite swag bag pick was the very Twitter-friendly mini Jager bottles with attached Tylenol. Angry Mob Artists in attendance: DJ Skee, Karmina, Glen Iris, Sarah Hethcoat, Lisa Donnelly, Paul Adelstein, The Morse Codes, Tom Schraeder, Ken Christianson, Subclones, John Pringle, Kristi Jo, One Trick Pony, Ladd McIntosh, and Robot Lincoln.
