Angry Mob Music’s Creative department was at the Bootleg Theater on Thursday (3/3/16) to support AMC composer Luke Top’s record release show.
Luke Top, previously with the Los Angeles indie band Fool’s Gold, has finally embarked on his solo career with the release of his debut album, Suspect Highs. He easily reels audiences in with the breezy, sun lit charm of Lucky Penny, a tropical pop, perky Afropop, and drafty bossa nova suffused chamber pop. Fans of Beirut, Al Bairre, Trails and Ways, and Vampire Weekend are sure to resonate with Luke’s new music. Lucky Penny follows on the heels of Luke Top’s first solo single, On The Shore, a languid drifter not to be missed.
