Los Angeles, CA (February 14, 2024) – Angry Mob Music Group, an independent music publisher boldly serving songwriters, composers, artists, and creatives, has announced the promotion of Clare Lee to Manager of Copyrights and the hiring of Dan Goldstein as their new Director of Royalties. Both Dan and Clare will report directly to Angry Mob CEO, Marc Caruso.
“Promoting Clare to Manager of Copyrights was a natural evolution for her continually impeccable work at Angry Mob the last three years. She’s continued to display a true commitment to serving our writers and artists, and I have no doubt she’ll continue to serve them with the very same level of rigor for years to come” said Marc Caruso, CEO of Angry Mob Music. “At the same time, we couldn’t be more excited to bring Dan into the fold at Angry Mob Music. His many years of experience in royalty analysis and accounting are going to provide our entire roster with an incredible level of precision and care, bringing them their well-deserved royalties down to the last penny.”
Clare started as an intern at Angry Mob in 2020, eventually transitioning to Administrative Coordinator, and now to the newly created role of Manager of Copyrights. In her new role, Clare will handle all aspects of Angry Mob’s copyright and works management including monitoring and managing registration of works, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and metadata for the Angry Mob catalog, handling all CWR and catalog data deliveries to PROs, CMOs, sub-publishers, and others, serving as the main point of contact for copyright inquires, and more.
“I’m so excited to continue growing my career at Angry Mob Music” said Clare Lee. “I’ve been so fortunate to call Angry Mob my home for the last three years and to be in an environment that has and will continue to foster my growth and development in music.”
With more than 15 years of experience working in music royalties at peermusic Publishing, Concord Music, and most recently at NKSFB LLC as a Royalty Supervisor, Dan Goldstein has joined Angry Mob Music as Director of Royalties. In this role, Dan will utilize his expertise to coordinate and process all outgoing and incoming royalty statements, review and resolve all accounts-receivable royalty accounting issues, regularly audit the Angry Mob catalog to maintain claims at music collection societies, record labels, and international sub-publishers, serve as main point of contact for writer-client and internal royalty inquiries, and more.
“I feel fortunate to be continuing my career with Angry Mob Music,” remarked Dan Goldstein. “I’m impressed with the teams’ collective knowledge and years of experience. Everyone has been welcoming in the short time I’ve been here and I’m excited to work with them in bringing their hard-working artists and writers their hard-earned royalties.”
