Angry Mob Music Elevates Ralph Torrefranca to Executive Director of Writer Creative

Los Angeles, CA (May 6, 2025) – Angry Mob Music Group, an independent music publisher boldly serving songwriters, composers, artists, and creatives, has promoted team member Ralph Torrefranca to Executive Director of Writer Creative. In this new role, he will continue to oversee the development of the diverse songwriters, artists, and producers that make up Angry Mob in addition to expanding his creative influence company-wide through cross-collaboration and providing key creative input on various projects and initiatives. Ralph is based in Los Angeles, CA and will continue to report to Angry Mob’s CEO Marc Caruso.

Since joining Angry Mob Music in 2015, Ralph has overseen and been instrumental in many of their roster’s biggest hits including “My Fault” by Shaboozey feat. Noah Cyrus, “She Likes It” by Russell Dickerson feat. Jake Scott, and “This Bar” by Morgan Wallen, and has been personally responsible for developing the careers of writers & producers like Bus (Ty Dolla $ign, Brent Faiyaz) and Bailey Bryan (Shaboozey, Kiana Lede). In addition, Ralph founded Angry Mob’s flagship writing camp, The New Normal, to bring the songwriting community together and lift each other up in an industry where underrepresented voices are often held back due to old, outdated ways of thinking by encouraging diversity and championing the melting pot of cultural backgrounds. With two camps under its belt, The New Normal has comprising of more than 70% women songwriters and producers, and more than 10 cultural backgrounds, growing more than 73% after its first edition. Outside of Angry Mob, Ralph has been a songwriter since the age of 16 and is currently the lead singer/guitarist in the post-punk band Cuffed Up. In addition, Ralph is an avid filmmaker and will be filming his upcoming short film, Fil-Am in summer 2025.
