BlakLight

About
BlakLight is a Los-Angeles-based, dark synthpop trio featuring Adam Collier, Brian Belknap, and Omar Quiñones. Formed in 2020, the band quickly gained attention with early singles and their debut album, Music in a Time of Uncertainty, followed by the acclaimed Into the Void, which landed on multiple year-end lists and expanded their emotionally-driven electronic sound.
Rooted in classic 80s electronic lineage, BlakLight blends brooding synth textures, melodic tension, and pulse-driven rhythms that sit comfortably between the dark romanticism of Depeche Mode and the moody, dance-forward edge of New Order, making their music equally suited for atmosphere, movement, and emotional undercurrent. Cinematic, melancholic, and hook-forward, their songs feel built for narrative moments.
Known for their strong live presence, BlakLight has shared stages with leading synthpop and darkwave acts, and appeared at major festivals across the US and Europe. Their fourth album, The Haunting of Us, marks their next chapter, pairing shadowy textures with some of their most direct and emotionally resonant songwriting to date.
