About

Siv Jakobsen is an Oslo-based singer-songwriter whose evocative indie-folk pairs melancholy with deeply personal storytelling. Her lyric-driven songs offer a compelling backdrop for intimate character moments, reflective narratives, and emotionally resonant brand campaigns. Across three albums and two EPs, largely released through her own label, her catalog has surpassed 55 million streams.

Her music has connected with audiences through television, film, and global advertising, including Gucci’s Epilogue campaign, the German Warner Bros. film Oscar’s Kleid, and European television series Delete Me and Bodem. With songs that bring an individual voice to universal emotions, Jakobsen’s catalog offers a rich source of material for stories centered on human connection.

Championed by NPR, KEXP, and BBC Radio 1, Jakobsen has toured internationally with José González, The Lumineers, and Gregory Alan Isakov. Her acclaimed second album, A Temporary Soothing, earned a nomination for Norway’s Spellemann Award, the country’s equivalent of a Grammy. Beyond her own recordings, she has collaborated as a songwriter with artists including Sigrid, Ane Brun, and Benjamin Francis Leftwich.
