Alto Moon is a pioneer in the self-described “Future Soul” genre, crafting radio-ready hits with powerful, edgy vocals. The American songwriter and producer’s versatility sees him deliver everything from modern pop to electronic-R&B, straight through to bold-and-brassy soul bangers. The Texas born / Atlanta bred artist quickly amassed millions of streams after his appearance as a contestant on Season 22 of American Idol received high praise from Lionel Richie and Katy Perry and a ticket to Hollywood.

Alto's national recognition has been supported locally, with shoutouts from Okayplayer as the defining artist of Atlanta's queer underground music scene. He was featured in an episode of MTV’s Seattle (Un)Covered mini-series, where his artistry is on full display.
