UK-based singer-songwriter Richard Walters has released six critically acclaimed albums to date. Currently signed as an artist with Nettwerk Music Group, his latest album, “Murmurate” was released in May 2024, with a new EP due April 2025 featuring various indie guest artists. Additionally, he released an album under the name SUN LO with Canadian DJ-producer Attlas. Richard is also a member of the band LYR with Patrick Pearson and the current UK poet laureate, Simon Armitage.
His music has been featured on countless hit TV shows including Grey’s Anatomy, Tin Star, Prisma, Bones, Station 19, The Good Doctor, CSI: Miami and So You Think You Can Dance.
Richard's work has been supported by Lauren Laverne and Guy Garvey at BBC 6 Music, Jo Whiley and Dermot O’Leary at BBC Radio 2, The Guardian, The Line of Best Fit, and Clash, among others. As a songwriter and collaborator, Richard has worked with Grammy-winner Joe Henry, pop artist Duncan Laurence, British icon Alison Moyet, Solomun, 3Lau, Sony Fodera, and Oscar-nominated actress Florence Pugh. He is both a writer and featured performer on cuts by EDM artists Kx5, Sultan+Shepard, Vintage Culture, Nora En Pure, Sevenn, and Modera, with more collaborations in the works for 2025.
