Verskotzi is an LA based artist, producer, and writer. Known for his diverse electro-pop sound, Verskotzi has received praise from The Fader, We Found New Music, All Things Go, and mentions in publications such as Rolling Stone and The Guardian. Verskotzi has drawn comparisons to James Blake, Bon Iver, Cherub, and Justice for his falsetto vocal styling, electro-pop melodies, and vast use of synthesizers & electronic beats.

Following his own early 2019 album release, Verskotzi was busy collaborating on more music that he would release later in the year. Some highlights include “Mood” which was co-written with rapper Obvi, “Good Ones” which was co-written with LA based artist LeyeT and the R&B/Dance infused “New Vibe” co-written with Boston born rapper ill Nicky. He also worked on several other collaborations with Sam Phay, Chaz Cardigan, Anna Clendening, Lydmor, Dylan Dunlap, Myles Costello, Richard Walters, Gayle, Sam Barsh, Jesse Thomas, Londin Thompson, Kanner, and Gavin Brown.

In early 2020, Verskotzi teamed up with the female group SHEL to co-write the song “Rainbow” which he also produced and mixed. The song procures an uplifting mood large in part by the sounds of ukulele, synth, and lustrous female vocals. Since it’s release “Rainbow” has amassed thousands of streams worldwide. It was also featured in Amazon Prime’s Tampa Baes.

In 2021 he began producing the Bitter:Sweet album with artist/songwriter, Shana Halligan. Two songs from the album “Marvin” and Écoute Ma Voix” were featured on The CW tv series, Charmed. In early 2022, he co-wrote “Hush Little Baby” with TikTok sensation Noah Davis and produced and co-wrote multiple songs on Sam Drysdale’s 2022 EP, Testarossa. Additionally, he has been working along side other well known songwriters and artists such as Tatiana Owens and Evan Coffman – both of which belong to the incredible roster of Angry Mob writers.
