Australian producer and songwriter Ben Browning returns his upcoming sophomore album Even Though. The first single “Sunshine Baby” opens with quiet pulsating synths before transforming into a kaleidoscopic swirl of groovy electronic guitar melodies and while fellow Australian artist Woodes provides the lover’s answer back in the track. A long-time member of the band Cut Copy, Ben’s solo project sees him defining his personal musical identity pulling melodic inspiration from Brian Wilson, XTC and Paul McCartney. “Sunshine Baby” is Ben’s first collaborative single, written as a homage to Italo disco and Takahashi from Yellow Magic Orchestra. Ben’s 12-track sophomore album Even Though is a retrospective of Ben’s journey as a musician. Check out his music video for song “Even Though” below.
