We’d like to wrap up Women’s History Month by recognizing the incredible and dedicated women that play a crucial part helping our business run smoothly and who give back and inspire the music community in so many ways!

Debra Delshad, Sr. Dir. Licensing & Synchronization : Her title, Senior Director of Licensing, just scratches the surface of what Debra brings to Angry Mob Music Group.  Previously with DreamWorks, EMI, and ole – and with over ten years of experience in the music industry covering multi-platform content across film, television, advertising, trailers, new media, and branding campaigns – Debra is determined and fearless when it comes to developing innovative ideas that simultaneously drive revenue and grow opportunities for each of our artists. Her in-depth knowledge of best industry practices, expertise across musical genres, and a degree in law all allow her to work closely with different areas of the company including licensing, A&R, and business development.

Ultimately what drives Debra is finding just the right placement for a song… it means not only recognition for the artist but that their music is having a direct impact with a client and audiences… that’s the real mark of success.

Charlotte Rowe, Manager, Contract Licensing: Growing up in New York City, music was an important part of Charlotte’s life from a young age. She took vocal training lessons for many years before attending NYU’s Steinhardt Music Business Program. Charlotte took an interest in the world of music publishing and eventually accepted roles with companies such as YouTube and HFA.

In 2018, Charlotte moved from New York to Nashville looking to experience another music hub and change of pace. She expanded her sync and mechanical licensing experience through positions at Round Hill and BMG before joining the team at Angry Mob Music.

Paula Savastano, Sr. Dir. Copyright & Royalties: As a classically trained musician, Savastano began her career in Opera Management, but quickly made the switch to the popular music realm. She has worked in the administrative management, intellectual property, and royalty departments for several notable companies, including Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI), Spirit Music Group, RykoMusic, Cherry Lane Music, Musical Heritage Society, and Turn Up the Music. In 2009, she founded SSA Music, which provides licensing, copyright, financial, auditing, and royalty consulting services to a diverse clientele ranging from independent musicians to major music publishers and record companies. In 2012, SSA Music expanded to a full-service publishing entity, providing full administration, royalty collections, catalog pitching, and song placements.

In 2018, Savastano returned to her roots as a freelance service provider and worked with several notable clients, including PEN Music Group, Reach Music Group and McJames Music. In 2019, Paula began working full-time as the Senior Director of Copyright & Royalties for Angry Mob Music.

Mary-Clare Lee, Coordinator, Administrative: Mary-Clare supports the efforts of the Business Affairs and Copyright and Royalties teams to help songwriters fully realize the fruits of their artistic work. Mary-Clare graduated from Lebanon Valley College with a degree in Music Business. She plays several instruments, including the violin, piano, and harp. Mary-Clare also performs with her siblings in a Celtic Nu-Folk band.
